Deer Feeder Solar panel & motor wiring question

Dumb question, sorry, but wanted to ask. I am planning on using a solar panel on my upcoming deer feeder build, and I keep seeing these 'piggyback' connectors for sale.

My question is this: can you just use one yellow spade connector and wire the motor (+) and solar panel (+) at the battery?

That's what do and I've never had a problem

Sure. The red ones are just easy if the panel or motor already have female connections included.

That’s the way every feeder I know of that has a solar charger is wired.

I doubt you’d want yellow though, as those are for much bigger wire.

I use the connectors with two spades--one for the solar panel input, and one for the battery output to the timer
