    The Elusive Texas Antlered Boar

I took a hunting trip with two buddies back in 2022 and killed a pretty good boar on a bow hunt in Willow City. Later that year I shot a 10 while sitting with my oldest son. It was the first deer I had killed with him in the stand. His younger brother is 6, and is always after the "pig with horns". So needless to say Dad made it happen.

    * Had both boys in the stand with me this year and we connected on really nice Hill Country 8. They are hooked and can't wait the bring this euro back to camp.

Years ago I mounted a big spotted board and put about 140 inch set of horns on him. I used crocodile eyes as well. The thing looked pretty good. It hung in Coopers for a couple years.
