I'm the worst gift buyer in history, I have an extremely hard time coming up with ideas for gifts. Heading to the coast Thursday for a good buddy's birthday, looking for ideas for a cool gift. He's a saltwater fisherman, owns a ranch, hunts, pretty much has it all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Under $200 suggestions?

lol , my buddy is super hard to buy stuff for, because he has everything he wants in hunting and fishing gear
but he also loves to cook and he loves French fries, so I bought him a commercial potato slicer / press for his birthday last year
this year he’s getting a can cooker , because he loves boiled seafood and crabs
I have to be sneaky because if he thinks he wants something I ask about he will get itLast edited by S-3 Ranch; 07-15-2024, 12:46 PM.

Get him one of those subscription deals where he gets whatever once a month. I get my buddies those things and have gotten them for fly fishing. They are affordable and fun and last 3-12 months so they get something once a month.
Guided fishing trip is another good one. Set it up right and you get to enjoy it too.
post fly is a fly fishing one. I’m sure if you google it you’ll get a million options (and spam for the rest of
your life).

The Meater thermometer. My wife got me one for Christmas and I was like "why do I need another thermometer?"... This thing is awesome. I want 2 or 3 more now!
The only meat thermometer you will ever need. No guesswork. Just perfect results every time. Shop the best-selling MEATER Plus, the premium MEATER Block, and discover the latest Pro collection including MEATER Pro, MEATER Pro Duo and MEATER Pro XL.

If he doesn't have one already, consider a Havalon knife and spare blades. Literally a folding scalpel with easy blade changes...super handy, particularly when processing multiple animals.
If he hunts solo and guts in the field, consider a Gut Daddy...makes the job a whole lot easier for one person!
