Which one of y’all is this?

Describing his dilemma on Reddit, a husband and father said a temporary houseguest of the family — the girlfriend of his stepson — is making demands of him inside his own home.

Son and his girlfriend move back in over the summer, girlfriend wants dad to quit eating meat, quit drinking, and take his mounts down off the wall. Dad says “no.”

Sounds like dad needs to have a heart to heart with his wife for one, and his kid about his dating choices. Or just a simple “GTFO”

HaHaHa! My Son or Daughter would have never even thought that in The first place - it would have been a Non Thought period because of the way We raised them . My wife would be right at my side Equally in telling them NO on all three Period. They would have either learned a very valuable lesson right then and there Or they would have been on their way trying to tell someone else how they are to change their lives . As I see it , it was or is a problem that started with either himself or his wife or both of them for enabling their 20 yo wimp son through his life and my bet goes towards his wife being the culprit.

No way the son’s girlfriend, or anyone else, is going to come in my house and tell me how we’re going to change the way things are done!

in other words, it’s completely made up.

The boy needs to run from that toxic brazen chick...normal people don't request obnoxious demands from their hosts.

Heck, the fact he allowed the sit down to happen with the folks tells me it's probably too late for him.

I just asked my wife, describing the scenario, but using my son’s name and his girlfriend’s name instead of the people in the story. I asked her what would happen, and without hesitation she said “then they would have to live somewhere else”. Forty-two years in August, but I knew I made the right decision many, many years ago !

I had just gotten outta the Marine Corps and was living back with folks. I didn’t come home one night. When I came in the next morning mom and dad were at the table drinking coffee. My dad looked at me and before he could say anything mom said “ don’t knock some gal up and think yall are coming over here and lay up”.
So, having been raised like that, the girlfriend moving in would be a non starter for me right off the bat.

You might still be able to smell the meat cooking, but you probably won't be able to see the mounts from the street.
