    Shark attacks at SPI today.

Lotsa groceries in the water...local did a bit, but they had no vid & this one is going viral. Pretty graphic chunk bitten off the calf.

I would bet it was the same shark.

    Kid friendly version.

Dang it...I assumed someone heard of it if I saw it one the news at 5 & looked for a thread.

The fascinating thing on the news bit was that we've only had 7 unprovoked shark bites in cameron co. since they've been keeping score & the % points went way up today with 4. Kinda crazy.

There was a score of bites/attackes in the Gulf Shores/Pensacoloa this year as well. Some happening same day. Pretty weird.

Anyone ID the species...where is Rey??

They supposedly pulled out all the stops & had GW & patrol doing all they can to try & run the threat off.

Whew that’s a life changing wound and massive blood loss. Hope the lady recovers ok.

Wide bite too. That’s a big bull.

You know how you don't get your calf bitten off by a shark? Go swimming in a swimming pool. Screw that crap. That's their territory. If you're swimming in a sharks house they're gonna win every time. It's funny people are surprised when people get body parts removed from animals. Duh......you're playing where they live.

Show me a person that got their leg bitten off at the local swimming pool or in their bath tub where we're supposed to be getting water on us. That would be shocking. Animals aren't our buddies fyi. They're not our friends. If it ain't in my bathtub I don't care much for swimming in it. But that's just me. Have fun with less calf muscle lady. Take that L and learn a lesson.

                        Correct!!

That is exactly why people should stay out of wooded areas and stick with concrete or at least well manicured lawns.

Snakes, big cats, deer, wasps and bees, pigs, in some areas bears, etc., are in their home. Anyone venturing into the woods deserves what they get!

Well the sharks are always there this time of year. I think the big difference is by mid June the surf is usually clear for the most part. This year is has constantly had a sandy color and has never been clear. Sharks come in to feed and can’t see as well because the off color surf.

Yes and one thing you'll never hear is me on a video screamin and cryin because I got bit. It's the same deal. Yeah you got bit......it's a snake dude. That's what they do.

When you go into somethings territory especially something that can permanently take you off this earth it's not gonna be crazy to me when something bad happens. Yet here we are oh my goshing about a shark attack.....in the ocean. Yeah man that's where they live and they're better swimmers than us. I get how something like that could happen.

That's a risk everyone takes when they go in there.
