    Tour Divide

Since everyone here is such cycling fans I thought I'd share the results of this years Tour Divide Race. It starts in Banff Canada and finishes in Antelope Well, NM, 2700 miles and 200,000 ft of elevation change. Winner ( Justinas_Leveika) just finished this morning in a little over 13 days, moving time was 10d03h29m and stop/sleep time was 2d21h22m. He broke the current record my more than a day. He won a pat on the back and a good job!

Can you clarify if this race was on roads? Asking for a friend.

Gravel roads and some single track along the Continental Divide , there is some paved roads going in and out of towns or to skip over to the next gravel road.

If they followed the Continental Divide Trail in southern Colorado south of the Rio Grande Resevior, then they passed right south of where we camped while elk hunting in Unit 751! Ain't nothing flat up there!
