I was talking with my brother over the weekend and he is in the process of selling his property near Conroe and will be looking for land further out toward Huntsville or further. but the issue he is having is he is only selling his land not his mobile home he is looking to store it somewhere while they find and purchase their land then move the mobile home to the land and start having a Barndominium built.. Has anyone ever done this who will store a mobile home for a short time? does anyone have an extra lot or land wanting to make a little extra money while its stored. Any advice is appreciated.

I had a similar problem awhile back. I rented a spot at an RV park near Zavala on Sam Rayburn. It wasn't much more money and it was safer, I think. Plus I went fishing on the lake a few times. I rented it short term waiting on a spot for my trailer at the deer lease. Hope that helps. -

around here there are a few large outdoor storage lots that people rent space for rvs and boats. I bet a place like that with some room would work him a deal.Comment

I would try to work something out with the new owners to leave it there till you had a place. It’s not cheap to move one once much less twice!Comment

The movers around here seem to store a lot of mobile homes at their places of business.
Really pulls the town together....
