You could hear the pump on my bil’s truck hum. He had gone over 100k since the last time he changed his fuel filters.

Don't have a clue what yall are talking about with the cp4 stuff but my 16 had close to 280k ROUGH miles on it when I got rid of it. Transmission went put at around 270 but other than that never had a single problem with it. Pulled heavy loads **** near every day at work.

I talked to the mechanic we use for the company I work for about it, and he told me every one that he had seen come into his shop had water in the fuel…

My 2019 owners manual calls for changing fuel filter every 30k miles, I change at every 15k. So far so good at 87k.

I change my fuel filter every second oil change and use bg diesel fuel conditioner. So far so good on all my diesels.

2012 6.7, 235k on my original fuel pump. No issues. Religiously change fuel filters every oil change, and don't run corner mart diesel, ever. I rarely add any lubricant's to the fuel. I think the trick is big name, high volume fuel stations, and stay away from the cheap stations.

Knock on wood. This truck, apart from the typical issues, has been rock solid. It will be going up for sale here this fall, but really no need to sell it. Love the truck.
