    First for me....

    I work in a pretty ghetto area. Today I was in the shop and I hear someone screaming outside. Had the shop door open so I walk over there to check it out. Some dude had his car parked and he was going ballistic.

    Pretty soon a chick got out and was just standing there and so he gets out and he's towering over her bowed up, mad as all get out. She's cussin him up one side and down the other and he happens to look over and seen me standing there. I just shook my head and he walks back over to the drivers side door, opens it and slams it as hard as he could. They yell some more and he gets in and starts to drive off. What does she do? Runs in front of the car and stands there so he lays on the horn. He let off it and she got in and off they went. First time I've ever witnessed a domestic dispute out in public like that.

    Guess that was my excitement for the day. Pretty weird interaction. Not sure getting back in the car was probably the best move on her part. He seemed to have his panties in a wad about somethin.

    Oddly enough that dude screams like a woman when he's real fired up I noticed.

    He was probably just trying to tell her how he saw his long lost friend, Chris, in the store and she didn't want to hear about it.

      LOL Yeah that could be. She definitely wasn't hearin it. That son of a gun was sayin all kinds of f words. She's a foul mouthed little chick.

        I used to work in a rough part of town as well. I have 3 bullets on my desk that we found either inside the shop, or laying in the yard. This is the projectile, not the casing. I also heard a 17 year old kid get shot and killed about 2 blocks from the office one day. It was 3 rapid fire shots, a 5 second delay, and two more shots a second apart. Given the cadence and the sound of the shot, I knew what I had heard. You could tell the bullets were making contact just like when someone shoots a deer. The next morning it was on the news.. We have moved on, and it took 2 weeks for them to rip apart the AC, and start ripping the wire out of the walls of that building. lol

          Worst we've had happen is two of our work vehicles had the catalytic converters cut off of them. They would have got three but their sawzall blade wore out on 'em. We've heard gun shots a few blocks away but I don't guess anyone got shot. Never heard about it if they did.

          Lots of homeless people and druggies around though. See at least one homeless person daily. In April I was out back and heard a noise over at the storage unit. Looked over and a lady raised the door and was standing there in her pajamas. She lit up a cigarette and stood there and watched me work.

          Had a black lady stop by one day about 2 in the afternoon. She asked if she could use the phone to call a taxi. One of the guys I worked with was dialing the number for her and she was like "I been to a birthday party!" He was like "Cool, have fun?" She smiled real big and shook her head yes. She was so drunk she had to lean on the wall to keep from falling over. Two weeks later I seen her smoking a cigarette with the lady in the storage unit. Thinking about how drunk she was still makes me laugh.

          I forgot about the homeless lady that wanted to fight me about three years ago. She walked by and I looked at her. She was like "What! Got a problem?" I thought "No....but I think you do. Several problems." I think she might be off her rocker or on drugs. Possibly both.

                    I ain't gonna lie, she was pretty nice lookin. I was hoping he'd leave her standing there in the middle of the road. I was gonna give her a ride home. When she ran out in front of him and he honked his horn at her I was thinkin "Just go around her. Leave her here you jackass."

                    It just wasn't meant to be. He wanted to hear her scream and cuss at him some more I guess. She was pretty good at it. Either that or he was thinkin "If I leave her here she'll be at my house in 10 minutes. I better go drop her off out in the country."
