Glad your on the mend. Back pain is some of the worse pain a person can deal with

I had L5-S1 fused in 2016
L4-L5 fusion scheduled for 2nd week in July
Unfortunately been on some extreme pain/nerve meds for too long and there is an issue with a kidney now-urologist appointment on monday

Had back surgery 10 years ago. Best thing that ever happened to me. Sounds like you handled it well. At first I did not do the walking that I was supposed to. I learned really fast that was a mistake.

I had a disk removed and the vertebrae fused together back in 2000 , like you was the best Money I’ve ever spent and found walking to be the best recovery thing I could do ,

Man, it’s looking like I’m heading down the same path as many of you. I’m going in on Friday to my pain management doctor for injections in my lower back. I don’t remember the exact location but I’ve got some bulging disks, I believe one that is herniated, and the bad one is right where the nerves branch out from your spine to your legs. I’ve got neuropathy in my legs and know it is time to do something when it gets worse. Now I’m having a hard time sleeping due to the back pain. This will be my 3rd round of injections in 5 years.
