This was killing me and my wife and we appreciate the thoughts and prayers so much. Thank you.
    That's great to read.

It’s bad enough waiting in fear for test results to come back. It’s even worse when you’re waiting on those reports for your child. There is no other fear like it.

In an abundance of caution, I think I might consider a second opinion for your daughter. I know it feels great to let go of the anxiety of waiting, but what if your doctor is wrong. I think I might consider consulting with a hepatologist were I in your position.

Well crap. That feeling was short lived. But you make a good point.

I’m so sorry. It’s just that I speak from experience. And this is your child, your child. Imagine how badly you’d feel if, over time, she develops some symptoms, only now they’re worse because you wanted to believe everything was fine.

Don’t bury your head in the sand. Instead, pursue this matter aggressively until you have a consensus of agreement that her liver is healthy.

              Good luck to you, sir.

I agree, having had liver issues with HepC that was cured with Harvoni treatment. My suggestion would be to call a local medical school and talk to the gastroenterology department (or look on their web site) and see if there is a professor specializing in jeuvenile heptatology (liver) diseases. Make an appointment and get his/her opinion. God bless all of your family.
