This is hard to believe. Anyone find a statement from DNR? I’ll be sending them a b*tching email once I see it’s official.

Public land only. Lee & Tiffany will still be plugging their trail camera sponsor.

This is probably right, public land. Kansas did the same thing a year or two ago. Besides, how could this be enforced on private property??

The same way they enforce banning of night hunting/spotlighting of deer, green cops walk all over private land.

It is interesting those podcast guys think the ban will increase the age structure of deer. IDK if its trail cams, antler restriction or other but age I've noticed age structure as definitely decreased here in north TX from what it was 20 years ago, deer population and buck doe ratio is better however.

IMO cameras increase age structure. Allows you to build so much more data. I personally don’t know anyone who runs cameras and shoots young deer.

                          1000%. There’s a reason I run as many cams that I do. I spend 2k a year easly now.

This is a good take I honestly have not thought of from that perspective, I agree with this mostly. I just dislike how so many “hunters” are utilizing cell cams
