Wonder where this guy came from

A camera we have on a creek crossing captures a wide variety of critters but this is our first non-native species. We’re in the south edge of Shackleford county

Yep, one of those things everybody should shoot ONE and then send them on

Or sometimes, if they had a little too much to drink……

We've been getting semi regular pictures of a group of 4 rams for several years, and yet to see one in person. Heath had a couple pics of some at his old place in Young county, Huntmaster shot a couple up north of Olney, and I know of several guys who've seen them between Newcastle and Throckmorton.

I plan to kill every one I see.

We had some on our place south of Del Rio. The “tick man” USDA guys shot every one of them. Said they came over from Mexico… carried the fever tick.

They show up every once in a while on my place near Del Rio. I’ve never seen one in person though.

They are definitely not good to have
not just tick fever but carry multiple diseases detrimental to bighorn and mule deer if they have to share a water source
