I've changed a seal on a really old Servis once, when I's a young man. Never again. Was a p.i.t.a!
Afterwards all the old timers said I's a fool. Just use axle grease.

And now I'm almost an old timer.

I had an amusing marketplace experience yesterday. Never know what you’re going to get. Everything from the item description, price, and even the location to meet was wrong but I got a heck of a deal in the end.

It was in Stephenville. I was just S of Mineral Wells w a 20' trailer Sunday!

Awesome story and sounds like you really made that old farmer's day! Bet he has some wisdom and a lot of stories to tell.

When we bought a 5' shredder for my daughter here off TBH, we had a quicker experience. We met outside Johnson City, back up backed up both trailer ends against each other, then winched the shredder off one trailer and onto the other. Took about 10 minutes!
