What to do with trapped pigs

Starting in the next couple of weeks, I'll be trapping pigs on two of my leases and need to know what I should do with them. Someone told me I could sell them to slaughter houses while someone else told me that some game ranches would buy them. I just keep thinking I should feed the yotes if you know what I mean. So what say the green screen?

Unless you can find someone locally who will come pick them up live or dead, I'd feed the yotes. You "can" make money by trapping and transporting them to someone who buys them, but it will take a long time to pay for the equipment, not to mention your time away from other things.

x2. Even if you found an approved buyer i think after you wrestled with them the first time you'd find your time was better sent dragging them off for buzzard food.

Cut the backstraps out of the sows where they lay. Fed the yotes with the rest.

We trap them and keep them in a cattle trailer until we get a load then take them to a guy that buys for a slaughter plant. We kill anything under 75# and sell the rest.We paid for our lease and corn with them.
