I had prolotherapy injections for complex meniscus tear and Achilles tendon inflammation along with physical therapy. Worked great for me and less expensive than PRP.

I had it and stem cell marrow on knees, was free with insurance and a waste of time.

I had two torn menesci that required surgery. Since my right knee was the worst, we started with that one. The plan was to move onto the left knee once the right knee healed.

During my surgery on the right knee, my orthopedic surgeon injected both knees with PRP. The pain went away in my left knee and, eight years later, it’s still fine.

My sense is that PRP works for some things, but not others. Or maybe some people and not others. I’ve had three areas injected and one of them did not work.
Simple torn menescus repair. She was 100% better walking into surgery than she ever has been since. We aren’t those people but I firmly believe the surgeon is liable.

I get it. I’d be mad, too.

I got PRP in hip, it hurt like hell and made very slight improvement, Definitely not enough improvement to do it again. I'm just going to go the replacement route.
