It's not name-brand, but if you're looking for a cheap camera that works try these:

I've been running a pair of these for about 5 years now and the only problem I've had was due to cows. Picture quality is great and nighttime quality is good. They can also do video or a combination of pictures/video. If only taking pictures, the AA batteries will last 1-2 months depending on photo quality, photo delay, etc. They also have an external power port for using a solar-power battery pack. Mine are currently running off battery packs and the AA's are only being used as a backup. I haven't changed AA's in over a year now!

With the LCD screen on these, you can view photos right at the camera, and any adjustments/settings are straightforward and intuitive. Photo trigger distance is also pretty good, right at about 25 yds.

I previously had Wildgame Innovation cameras and they would usually take a dump around year 3. I still have a couple old Wildgame Innovation cameras but their ability to take consistent photos is suspect at best. I won't ever use them again.

I've got about 20 Browning Strike Force that I'd part with. Going cell cams. They were only used 1 season. With blue lithium ion Energizer, we get tons of pics. Ours would last the whole season on 1 minute delay and get 50,000+ pics. Great cameras and easy to use.

I've got an old Moultrie if you can find somewhere to get the film developed.

I bought three Meidase 48 mp trail cameras at Amazon for $50 a piece and could not be happier. Excellent battery life and great pics. They have two sensors that point out to the side so the camera catches everything. I got tired of buying the name brand ones and not being happy with the performance or price.
