another boat question-Equal to Tracker Grizzly 2072 cc sportsman?

Well I've bumped up my budget after 2 fishing/bow fishing trips in a co workers Tracker Grizzly 2072 cc sportsman. I'm now looking at new and the price for this boat is right at 45k with a all the lights/ deck on front and 150 Mercury. Is there another MFG that sells an equal, turnkey ready like this one? Last night was my first time bow fishing.....Im not sure why I never tried this before, its a rush!

Every single person I'd talk to that has never bowfished thought it would be just some fun. 100% of the people I took out said it was the most fun.

    Good luck finding a boat!

That's what I bought my boat for... I built up a bowfishin' boat from it... Way I used to look at it if you're a bow hunter and take up bowfishing, there ain't no offseason! I got started with a friend of mine from church... He had some canoes and we used to take the kids from church out on Lake Houston bowfishing in those canoes... I ended up getting really hooked on that! Bought the boat, n built 'er up with lights, genny, rigged out 6 old vintage recurves for bowfishing, three left handed and 3 right handed and we got after those fish... No big gar in Lake Houston, but there were some monster carp and grass carp... Then one day after 2 or 3 years of bowfishing the lake, the cops shut us down! Seems the glorious City Council and our wonderful Mayor passed an ordinance against using archery equipment in a city park. They consider the whole dang lake a city park!!

Around 2000ish I bought a grizzly 1860. Just the hull from bps. Found a trailer and found a wrecked small bass boat and used its motor, tanks, steering. I’ve built countless bowfishing boats so I did the deck myself and lights. Bought a northern tool generator and it was my favorite boat until my current. I had less than $10k in the whole set up

currently have a 20’ express cc with a removable deck I designed. I’ve removed the deck a year ago, cause bowfishing ain’t what it use to be at all. There’s 1097 air boats there now and none have a clue what damage they do. They are fired up with a record night of 14 fish….. when we killed hundreds with a trolling motor and a $2500 boat. lol.

fish just ain’t here like they use to be for whatever reason

I feel like you could get into one cheaper than 45. You just wouldn't be able to leave BPS and go shoot fish

I'm not of fan of trackers. Too many proprietary parts on the boats. Controls, guages, wiring etc.

I've seen some Weldbilt center consoles that made me drool. About any aluminum boat made will be betterer than a Tracker . I had one of those 17ft pro tournaments and was constant maintenance.

You could save a lot if you would put the boat together yourself. We started out shooting fish from a bass boat with a spot light. Ended up with a 20' aluminum with a removable deck and airplane prop. I have looked at those Trackers though and it would be nice to just buy it all ready to shoot.
