    Vortex customer service

    I posted before when I damaged my Vortex binos, they sent me a new pair, and the latest model.

    My son gave me his ‘old’ Ranger 1300 laser range finder when he upgraded.,It would only range to 300. They told me to do a reset, which increased the range to 500. They said ship it back (at their cost).

    They sent me a new Ranger 1800.

    Good products and great after sale support.

        I have owned one Vortex scope--3-9 with lighted reticle for hog hunting. Hunted with it one time and sold it. My Leupold 3-9 with heavy Duplex is much better--as this picture shows:

                I’ve caught a couple of great deals on eBay for damaged vortex items. I’ve bought them for pennies on the dollar and slap vortex’s shipping label on it as soon as I receive it. They’ve always replaced with the newest comparable item except a tripod I sent in. It only needed a new leg piece, but they completely refurbished the entire thing and cleaned/ lubricated the head.
                too. Great service, but there’s definitely higher quality stuff out there in the same price range.
