Lake Lewisville sandies?

Taking the grandson out on Lake Lewisville in the morning to try to find some sandbass. Anybody fished it and caught any lately? Thanks.

How did you guys do (if you went)? I live right by the lake but haven’t taken the boat out much this spring. I’ve heard mixed reports.

Sandbass/whitebass surface and chase from now through the fall. They won't stop until the winter. Just depends on the day and the weather on how much and being in the right place at the right time..
