Finished my guiding deal at the s.tx ranch and headed home right as the storm hit Alice Texas..
Raining and lightning so hard I could only drive 45mph all the way to Refugio and it hasn't let up one bit.. saw a duck in a life raft.
Said I give, and got a hotel for the night..

Got home Friday night to a dark neighborhood, but my two boys had lanteerns, candles and flash lights on in the house. When asked how long the power had been off the answer was over 3 hours. What did you do to pass time, we talked on the couch, they never called me, worried or scared. So proud of my boys.
