No luck on the bears so far. My buddy missed one at 310 and missed another at 175. Beautiful country up here. It’s sure hard to go home after spending a week up here

Great pictures. I assume that's the burn area for the Moose fire near Salmon Idaho?

Well, you timed the hunt correctly. I woke up to 4” of spring snow this morning. Checking TBH, acup of coffee, then try to knock the snow off our aspens.

I had a bear this week on our ring camera at the ranch house in Anaconda Montana. From the video, it looks like he was grazing in a small pasture. Maybe you’ll have better luck in the lower country with the new spring grasses.

So has anyone called for a SAR team? Last time somebody went on a bear hunt they didn't update the thread in a day or two and the nancies and karens were trying to contact the family, outfitter, SAR, etc

On a side note, jaker, Clay was right that this was as live as his turkey thread this year haha

It’s hard to keep it live when we flew home on the 21st. I’d sure love to still be up there in that cold weather. It’s a joke down here right now

Spent 5 hours glassing for bears today in the Tobacco Roots. No bear, but did see 4 elk.
