I got my elk point but this was the first year in the past 6 I did not put in for (and draw) a deer tag in NE Utah. Went from seeing approximately 75 deer two years ago in 4 days to a grand total of three on a 4-day hunt last season. The winter kill in the area was significant on the heels of several drought years. Good luck to all of those who drew a tag!
