My honor and privilege… (BIG HOGS)

This Friday and Saturday was the Marine Corp Leagues annual hog hunt. I am not military, but have an absolute blast taking these men and women after some true trophy hogs. Most have never even hunted pigs before. I can’t thank them enough for their service, and it’s my honor to give them back an evening of smiles and stories

Had a husband and wife team this year and I was assigned as one “guide” cancelled last minute. Neither had ever hunted hogs and BOTH got hogs of a lifetime!!! Congratulations to both of my hunters and hats of the the league for all they do for these service men and women

His went 252 on the scales and hers was 155. Both made absolutely perfect shots with my 6.5 Grendel!

Both were armor plated! But the 252 had it from tail to snout! And was almost as thick as my finger! Never seen it go that far back. Neither smelled bad at all and processing was donated so they got some freezer space filled too!

Beasts! Great job guiding them. What would you say are Top 5 things for success for trophy hogs. Other than playing the wind and food.
