In my truck at the gate listening to some Enter Sandman ready to go cut a pig. Got a feeder and a corned road to hit. Gonna use my Elusive Tech kill light. Trying the green lens this time.

The feeder went off at 620 and was hit hard. Goes off again at 7:30 I think. So I'm sitting a while. I hear pigs in the brush on my right. Hope they step out.Comment

I'm sitting on the road. I have a sounder located. They are bedded up on a hillside along the road. Been sitting here waiting for them to come down. Wish I had ten gritty catahulas right now. A little ten pound piglet came down twice but the biggies won't budge. Just gonna sit and wait a while to ambush.Comment

Dang!! So close! Was texting about leaving soon when I hear a deep grunt up ahead on the road. I hear a pig feeding so I wait. Finally in the moonlight I see a huge black shape up ahead. He's feeding along. Big!
I wait and he turns broadside. I blink my light to confirm where his front shoulder is. Draw back float the green light down on him. As I'm placing my pin in the crease my finger starts to go from behind the release tigger to the front. He bolts. Gone! Man one more second and he woulda bought it.
I'm sticking to red lights. No more green. It only works on young pigs around here. They never spook with red .Comment
