Last time we did this drug runners wanted us to pull his stuck truck out and we were worried about him taking our trucks. I wouldn’t go too far down without a gun handy for sure. Lots of shallow graves down there.

Really miss his articles and wish I could have taken the family on one of his trips.

Check him out before you go and you can call him at the shop also. Have fun down there, it's a cool place.
This is a huge help. Going down the rabbit hole of his youtube channel now.

90% of fisherman pass up the fish. Can’t tell you how many fish I have caught down there with dry feet. Learn to read the surf and don’t worry about being a part of the food chain.

Down at PINS today and high tide is to the dunes at some points. Sand is soft high up so 4WD and locker were working it today. Watch the wind and tide, don’t want to get pinched and lose a truck to the water.

Put a 5 gallon bucket in your truck. Helped a guy get unstuck today using the old trick of water poured in the ruts to pack the sand down. He got a little traction kept on trucking. Low tide late afternoon is awesome right now, mornings still on the rough driving side.

Did you make it out there? Or should I ask if you made it back ?

That's one thing I've can never figure out is the surf. I've had some amazing days but those are few and far between compared to getting my butt handed to me. I can find em in the bay but out in the surf I'm completely lost

We haven’t made it yet. We were planning on going this morning but I think we’re going to take the jetty boat over to San Jose today and head down there tomorrow.

Don't eat breakfast tacos at Stripes before you camp out at PINS.

Solid advice. Second word of advice is ‘baby powder’.
