    Unique Axis Down!

Went down to South Texas and only had time for one evening and one morning but was able to close the deal on a pretty unique axis buck. I wouldn't normally target an axis in velvet but given the time constraints and how cool his velvet was, I was very happy to get him! He ended up 31x33.5". My biggest axis to date.
I have seen slight marbling on axis before but never to this degree and never running up the entire beam like this one does! Hopefully will make for a cool mount

Thank You. I had no idea how different the cape was until I looked back on my first axis 10 or so years ago. Here is a side by side! Click image for larger version Name:	F5B17C3E-858E-47C7-990C-B3BE1DE1708C.jpg Views:	0 Size:	392.2 KB ID:	26785454
