    After almost 2 years........

I finally realized I don't have to put the toilet seat down anymore.

My wife's best friend lived in Virginia for 15 years. I had to get used to her being gone for weeks and occasionally months. Never made a bed. Kept 2 spoons. 2 forks, etc in the sink. Did laundry once a month.
Well she moved back to Houston last November. My toilet seat is down this morning and there are no dishes waiting for me in the sink.
I did feed the barn cats on a paper plate this morning so I did not have to wash a couple of bowls...

1 wife and 3 daughters. I am always putting the seat down, but I also put the lid down. If I have to lower the seat they're going to have to raise the lid. I'll take all the victories I can get.

I’ve got my husband trained to lower the seat AND put the lid down! I don’t like looking at an open toilet, much the same as I don’t like looking at an unmade bed.

We all have our little idiosyncrasies. I can’t stand a light left on if you ain’t using it RIGHT NOW ! If the lights have two switches, I have a preference for which one I want in the off position. Yeah, I know………

My wife loves to see the seat down so much I leave it up so she will have something to help keep her busy.

My wife is the world’s worst at leaving lights on and doors nearly shut. She has so many redeeming qualities that I don’t ***** about it much.

Yup, same here. Never fails there's a couple partially open. I don't say anything...but I have been known to leave every door and drawer in the kitchen halfway open when I leave for work real early.
