A few years ago the family did the Costa Rica thing. This was some fancy resort, and I was chilling on the outside porch at night, half drunk, when a coati climbed the railing and staired at me. I calmly explained that we weren't supposed to feed wild animals, those are the rules, etc. He ignored me, slipped down the rails, climbed up my chair, stood on my shoulder and whispered in my ear "Pura Vida!".
