Just now getting around to posting.
My wife was able to punch her deer tag in the Gila last year. We had a great hunt, she passed a couple of small bucks not wanting to be picky but wanted a mature deer. Half way through the hunt we spotted this buck but couldn't get to him in time for a shot so we set up in the area he was for the last 2 days of the hunt. It was thick where he was spotted and would have to be a quick shot so we waited and the last morning he showed himself long enough for a 600 yard shot. He ran about 75 yards and she got a buck of a lifetime. She drew another deer tag this year so hope we can make it happen again.
