Outer Range on Prime Video

Just read an article in Cowboys & Indians magazine about the premier of Season 2 for the Prime Video series, Outer Range. They say it’s a combination western (which I like) and sci-fi (which I don’t like), sort of a Yellowstone-meets-Twin Peaks.

Has anyone seen the first series and, if so, what did you think? Worth watching?

I watched the first season and enjoyed it. Lots of questions unanswered so I'm glad to hear they are doing another season. I'm a fan of Josh Brolin so that helps too.

About time they come out with the second season.

Loved the first. Not a sci-fi fan but the first season was great. I wouldn’t necessarily call it far-fetched or weird, the sci-fi part of the story more or less follows the indian spiritual realm type of supernatural things and places. To me it’s more relatable than Yellowstone as not everyone is insanely wealthy and connected as where this series is about a typical cattle ranching family trying to scrape by to keep the ranch.

Did they give an approximation of a date?

I am not a TV series watcher by any means but I tried out the first episode when it came out and I was stuck on it. Far fetched but pretty dang entertaining if you ask me.
Not a fan of sci fi but I was very entertained and will watch the 2nd season when it finally comes out. Looks to premier on Thursday May 16th on Prime.

I think we watched three episodes and lost interest. There’s only so much tv watching time in an evening and we were watching other things that were more interesting. I may go back to it and watch it some more at a later date.

The article says, “In the series, which returns for Season 2 this spring on Prime Video…” Hardly informative, so I’m going to go with GroceryGetter’s info and put a reminder on my calendar for May 16th. I’m not sure why, I haven’t even watched season one yet.

I felt the same way. I like Brolin, but I couldn't get past all the weird Sci-Fi crap. I tried, and gave it several episodes but lost interest and never finished. Too many good options out there to watch something that's just "meh".

Same here, I lost interest in it after the second episode. I found old reruns of Northern Exposure the other day and would rather watch that😂

I watched the 1st season and I`ll give it a 6 out of 10. Probably watch season 2 if it ever comes out. I don`t watch series very often because you never know if there will be a season 2 just like this one.
