I am renovating a 1964-65 John Deere 4020 Diesel tractor. The old oil bath air cleaner assembly is in bad shape. I have found thus far that this can be completely swapped for a dry filter assembly that some models came with. The other option is to see if I can get a dry air filter to fit. The only issue with that is that I still need the bottom pan and clamp to hold it all together which seem to be readily available on ebay.
-Has anyone messed with this before?
-Does anyone know of any used tractor junk yards around Central TX - San Antonio? (I have 1 call into Paige Tractors in Giddings.)
Thanks,
