Took a few more to the train station

I beefed up my trap by doubling the number of t-posts. Caught a few last night. They didn’t break out. Got 6 this morning. Shot 1 outside the trap when I first walked up. Had 5 in the trap besides all the piglets that ran away. I shot one of them several times with my .22 mag and he wasn’t dead. Ran out of ammo. Came back with pistol on the tractor, and he had jumped out of the trap while I was gone. Shot him a couple more times back in the brush. He was still growling at me. I just left him. Didn’t want to wrestle that tough little sucker in the thick brush. 😀

Now that's a good reason to buy a grapple.

I wish all these pigs at my house would move to your pig place.

There are loads of reasons to have a grapple. I'll never own a tractor without one.

Lol I am sure many people had your wishes with these pests.

My first trap was made with panels like yours and piglets were always running off. Now, it was fun to do the “run ‘n shoot” routine but too many were getting away so I got a bunch of chain—link fencing from a fellow TBH member and put it inside the panels. Attached it with hog rings. Now they don’t get away.

Would the little ones push into the trap?

Shane—I didn’t look close enough at your trap—mine is a drop-gate. I have used your type too and only the larger ones would push in.

Nice! This may be stupid, but anybody ever tried putting in a little small door the piglets could push into?
