The guys I sell to are hog buyers for Southern Wild Game once they get a certain number of hogs in their pen, a guy with a long double decker horse trailer makes his rounds to a few hog buyers places and hauls them all back to San Antonio at the slaughterhouse once they are processed they ship the meat over to Europe where it is sold in stores.

I picked his brain about it one day if you couldn't tell!

Weve got a guy that will make him look like an amateur that traps off a coal mine here and brings them to us. Biggest check he's got from us in one day was just over 5k.

Seguin may still buy- You have to run big heart shaped traps that hold and catch lots of hogs at a time. I would imagine if you had the land and lots of it you may be able to make some xtra cash but you would probably be better off just getting a second job.

You need about 20 traps, a hog holding pen, a yota truck, a hog cutting gate inside a pen to seperate the hogs as they dont buy them under 75 pounds usually and make you take them out, unless you can get a 20 foot gooseneck full of big boars and sows they did not break even for me due to having to haul them to far to a buying station and feed them with $5 a bag corn until we got a load, they eat like hell to after trough worming them big time. The scales never weigh correct i have seen at buying stations either and are not inspected. What gets into work is if one is underweight and you have to take it off the trailer and put it back on, nightmare for sure, ever tired doing that with 30 hogs in a cow trailer??LOL The price of corn $10 a bag and $4 a gallon diesel and still low prices looks like below cost to try to trap them full time. If one had 20 200 pound boars they only paying $80 for them so $1600 for a gooseneck trailer full of them, feed them until u get a load to take in your got more in them than there worth real quick. It cost the same to haul one hog in vs 20 for me, last time i sold a big load 24 full i took it in the pants after i paid for the hauling over and hand to help unload them and feed, omg now corn is twice as high?? You have to have water and feeder for them unless you are starving them to death until u get a load going, i see this alot going down th ehighway, poor hogs so drawed for water and food it makes me sick sometimes the way they get abused. But on the other hand, kill them all!!!!lol Worst illegal immigrant we can still take care of legally!!!! If we could ship all the caught illegals back to there home country with 5 hogs each they would not come back over here as the hogs would take over, Mexico full of hogs and Iraq and Arganstan full of pigs so more coming here for food, eat at home!!!! 5 hogs with one stone!!!!
