I leave next Thursday, going with Exclusive Adventures, booked the trip in 19 scheduled to go in 20, then Covid happened and here we are 4 years later. Bow hunting Stag and Tahr, I’m also going to duck hunt for a couple of days as well, I’ll let you know how it goes.

Top of the bucket list for me. Kids and college are my priority now, but good Lord willing, the wife and I will go in 10 yrs or so.

I hunted with Wildside Safaris. Great guy and will do everything to get you on an animal. Avid bowhunter as well. I hunted with him on the North Island but he also hunts the South Island. Its at least worth an email for phone call.

Why south island? I hunted with Wanganui on the north Island and it was AWESOME. Totally different climate and terrain up there. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I did our honeymoon there and loved it. We hunted with the old Kiwi safaris. Hunting was fabulous and they had fantastic tahr hunting that didn't require a helicopter. I think they have a new name now. I believe it's Rangitata Safaris or something like that.

Did any of y’all do any fishing while in NZ? I’ve heard the fly fishing is amazing.

NZ is on the list but I think I want to go to Spain next.
