Sounds super fitting for my 16 foot square bow 1648 G3 river jon with a tiller 25hp "Even-Rude". Got three 10" Birds and a 126 Garmin with LS, Terrova I-pilotlink with BT and ready to lock, tock, and rock. Tell me, is this a freshwater or salty "tourniquet"? Salty, I'm out. Freshwater, then I'm out anyway simply because it's a "turnament".
If I'm gonna fish, I'm gonna fish for meat.

We ran all over the places, even all the way to Pringle in Jon boats and took extra gas along so we could manage more than just the trip there and back. Usually took about 50minutes to get there.
I think it would be a blast to go fish the Jon boat tournament. Considering it’s a true test of knowledge, experience and how good of an angler one is with just limited transportation and distance.

Took a few near death experiences to make us rethink the whole idea!! Lol..
We used to anchor about 100 yards off of the end of either the Surfside or Quintana jetty also and smooth wear the big trout and bull reds out. Incoming tidal flow was the best.
