Had the 4k and sold it. If I was out in my yard and there was a bush, telephone pole or anything in the general area between me and the target it would whitewash out everything else and I could not see past it. Even in my treestand close leaves in the scope peripheral would do the same thing. Probably user error, just my .02

I've had night vision, albeit an older sightmark, but now that I have a quality thermal I can't imagine going back.
