Snakes are out in Brown County

Last year I saw lot of snakes and a few rattlesnakes
Not one this year until Wednesday. First was a chicken snake and Thursday was a 4’ diamondback. He rattled as the Mule passed. Super heavy.

Was brush cutting yesterday and kicked up a few rat snakes Runnels county. Dang snakes

Got my first copperhead of the season Thursday night. Let the fun begin. 😁

We caught two Diamond backs in Northwest San Saba County last week. One of them was a hoss.

I wish it'd warm up enough that they'd all come out here. I'm getting really annoyed with this cooler weather. I've only caught two snakes this Spring. It'll get warm and then drop back down in the 50's. Gonna take some days off work to hunt some snakes here in the next week or two.

I hate sitting on my duff and doing nothin during the weekend. It's too dang cold to go find any today. All I do is sit around and eat like a horse on days like this.
