We are singing the same tune !

Well I’ve got to disagree a little bit with y’all I really like some of his songs particularly with the highwaymen. I knew a guy who travelled with him for many years as he was a lone star beer salesman and he had the craziest stories about Willie. I don’t agree with his politics but I think a lot of that revolved around him wanting to legalize pot. He was a great songwriter but also had a distinct voice as the others in the industry. Just my opinion

I love listening to Willy. Evidently lots of other people do as well. Might be why he has sold over 60 million albums. Not bad for a guy with no talent.

My wife went to a Willie concert several years ago, all he did was sit and talk his songs. She said it was terrible, so typical Willie Nelson - terrible…

              It's really good background music.

For many years, the only reason to go to a Willie concert is just to say you saw him in person. He has been mailing it in for a long time. I still really enjoy a good number of his songs but many have been overplayed to the point they are an automatic punch-out when they come on the radio eg: "On the Road Again" "Mamas, Don't let your babies" "Good Hearted Woman" etc....

We went to see Hank Jr. several years ago. He stumbled out and plopped on a stool, passed out drunk and while they were dragging him off stage he was still singing? Lip syncin SOB.

                          He's 118 years old!!

Really he's 90.... would have been in his 80s when your wife went "several" years ago.

Him and Keith Richards roll em like they see em. Which lends support that there is formaldehyde in Pot Weed these days.😎😎

I saw him 27, and 22 years ago, and both shows were garbage. Rushing through songs, and talking so that you could barely hear him.
