Any apps that can trace a path I take?

We have some large old growth cedar areas. I’d like to leave clear half of it and create bedding areas in the middle or interior. You can tell walking the area that the area held good grasses before the cedar took over.

Anyone know of an app that uses google maps or something similar to trace the path I take while on the tree shear? It’s pretty easy to get turned around on the machine and end up either cleaning too much or not enough in an area.

GPS kit will “plot/paint” your trail… there used to be a free version but not sure if it had that particular feature on the free app version…

Nike running app. It will also give speed, distance and elevation.

OnX is so simple even I can use it! AND you don't need cell service to run it on your iPhone (assume maybe they have it for Android by now too)...

That NOT all everybody knows... I have several... they all work, but OnX for simplicity works better or as good as all the others, AND with OnX you can choose your base maps, even Google Earth's latest edition, which for us down South is less than a year old and shows all our stands/camp/feed stations/roads, etc...
