Pecans.Com retail store in Goldthwaite

Does anyone know what happened to the Pecans.Com retail store in Goldthwaite?
I stopped by on Friday to pick up some pecans and fudge. Store was cleared out.

Pecans.com and our staff want to express our love for every one of our customers and to say thank you for your love, support, and business over the past 20+ years!! Our little brick and mortar store, that sits along the railroad tracks, has been a part of this community, many happy times, the beginning of new relationships, and memories. When Joe Brooks and Jessica Seward bought Pecans.com from the previous owner, they did not buy the property where the little store sits. There were several reasons for that, but one reason is because the building is attached to the shelling plant and the owner had already leased it to a different outside entity. The property owner and their lessee have asked us to leave the property where the little store sits. This is sad for us and our staff, but "The Cabin" (located at 188 HWY 84) will be opening March 2,2024 and you will still be able to get all of your pecans.com products there and so much more!! We will be closing the little store at 6:00 pm Friday, February 16th. When one door closes another one opens and when you have the passion we have, the team (family) we have, and continued support that we have, this next door we open won't be anything short of amazing! Good to know, I was in that store about a month ago. Those praline pecans are addictive !
