That Orion H30 was on my short list of lights. May still get one later for a spare.

The lights with the color lenses would be okay but the only problem I could see with them is that's just one more thing you could lose. Which is easy to do after you've been up huntin all night and you get tired and all you can think about is getting home and going to bed. All it takes is that one time dropping that red or green lense and you just get in and go back to the house and crawl in bed. I've misplaced things after long hours of huntin and didn't think about needing it until I was ready to go huntin again.

That Wicked Hunting Light will be perfect.

I do quite a bit of night hunting and I run sniper hog lights. Built like a tank and run well. I would stay away from green. It tends to spook them a little more than red/white in my experience. If you have any questions about sniper hog lights, feel free to shoot me a message.

Check with Elusive Wildlife Technologies, they are right there in the Houston neighborhood. Good prices.
          Adios,

Can't go wrong with Elusive Wildlife, and they are local in Conroe. I have had my light from them for 10 years now and it has a lifetime warranty. I think they are the only ones who do a lifetime. I've killed many critters with my kill light.

I will never buy another wicked light. I have one, I’ve had it for approx. 6-7 years. It’s junk, has always been junk. Contacted them, after getting it and they said I could send it back for repairs. Would have to pay shipping both ways and cost of repair, screw um. So the issue was is and always has been. Sometimes ( quite often) when you power the light on, it wont light up. You have to shake it or smack it with the palm of your hand to get it to “ light”. Then when you finally get it to come on, it might be in one of the two flash modes, or any of the brightness settings. Then if you just barley bump it while your using it, it may shut off, or just jump to one of the other light modes, usually flash mode. Things a serious piece of sh&*.

Hate to hear about your light not working like it should. Hopefully they have improved them since you bought that one. Mine doesn’t look anything like yours. I’m hoping to try mine out this evening.

If you watch the predator hunting show "Night Crew", no doubt you've seen the Wicked commercial where host Chris Robinson says "If it ain't Wicked - it ain't worth it !"

I dropped mine straight onto concrete the last time I took it out huntin. It hit right on the bell end where the glass is. I cussed up a storm and figured it probably ruined my light. I was so frickin mad at myself. Chipped a piece of the bell end off but it still works fine. I figured I broke it good from the sound it made hitting that cement. I didn't sound real great myself. I dropped so many f bombs it sounded like I developed tourettes syndrome.

I'd caution against green in favor of red unless you're going to have it on constantly. i have one of the moultrie predator lights and it's scared the pigs off every time i had it set to detect motion.
