3 Day Hunt Coming Up

Group of 7 guys coming in to do some serious Hog Hunting, Eating, and probably some Drinking in that order starting Thursday evening.
I can't wait to get started, I'll be posting pics. Gonna be a good time to try this stuff thats called Buck Candy.....report to follow.

Just talked to them. They're just hitting San Antonio. TBH Express here.
If anyone has anything that needs to head back towards Dallas area from Laredo, let me know. They'll be leaving on Sunday. They're from Canton.

The guys finally rolled into town and stopped at the HEB to stock up on some supplies at around 11:30 am. Left to the ranch and they unloaded most of their gear. Got the corn in their ATV's and started out to corn the senderos, wow what an afternoon to be out at the ranch. Thank you Lord.
I'll join them later this afternoon and see if we can't get into some hogs, hopefully they'll stick a couple of javi's before I get back to camp.

Headed out to check on the guys, good thing the lease is only 8 miles from town. I'll be taking more pics and hopefully make it a semi-live hunt.
I'm hunting this evening, with a $5.00 per person pot for heaviest hog and javi makes it just a bit more interesting.

we had tons of success last year

by corning the roads at dawn, going back for some hot breakfast, then heading out to glass the long roads!

Got into camp about 6:30pm and found a couple of guys starting to fire up some mesquite. They corned several senderos and were told later that another ATV was coming behind them and stalking the javis that were coming out after they left, lol. Nice afternoon with a couple of javis killed, several missed and a big rattlesnake beheaded. Dinner tonight consisted of 1" thick pork chops, ribs, and sausage.
