Anyone know this custom home builder?

Browsing Zillow and ran across two homes in Salado the wife and I both really liked. They shared about 3 or 4 features and one of them said it was built by Delton Stuckley, I believe. I can't find him on the internet anywhere, hoping to see if anyone here might know him. I would like to contact him about building a home, possibly. If anyone could connect us I would appreciate it.

Don't know him but I'm bored working a security gig. Did a little research and found Stuckley Construction 14954 Sunshine Road, Holland, TX, 254-657-9507. Holland is just down the street from Salado so this is probably him. He's building million dollar homes and has zero info on the web, that's surprising to me unless he's doing it under a different name. Noting on social media I could find either. Good luck

Yeah, I found about the same yesterday except that there is a Delton Stuckley Custom Homes LLC that looked like it was registered in Salado. It'd be cool he if could make an exception on the million dollar homes for my broke self haha.

Go talk to the building inspection dept of the jurisdiction you are looking at and find out what they think about him. Get references, not ust the ones he gives you but ones you should be able to pull up from public records for the jurisdiction you're in. No. 1 item is don't pay up front!!! If they can't build on pay on completed progress I would back off. I spent 45 years in Commercial Building so I know just a little bit about the process. You can PM me and we can talk. I'll help you all I can. I am retired now so I'm not trying to drum up business.

Thank you, appreciate it. My wife's father was a custom home builder but unfortunately passed from colon cancer in 2010... I never got the chance to meet him but everyone has the best things to say. We probably would've been building the house together if he were around.

What’s the inspector gonna say? “Ol Delton is a true gentleman. He bribes on time and in cash.”

Funny enough I was playing cards in Belton about a month ago and the dealer struck up conversation about where I was from. Told him the long story and that we were there in town during the option period. He said if I was building I needed to have Delton Stuckley build my home. About a week later I was able to connect with Delton. I was invited to his house and talk about ideas. He has been building high end homes for 25 years and is word of mouth only. He has some big projects going right now. Glad I was able to meet him. We closed on some property just south of Salado. Hope to break ground soon.

Sounds like it was meant to be. Enjoy your build.

No help on Delton, but a short story on my builder.
Before I started my house in Brown County, we were fortunate to have someone (maybe here) recommend Jon Drosche from Goldthwaite.
We met the people he was building for at the time and they said “look no further”. Expensive, but the best decision I have made in a long time. And no one seemed to know him when I answered the question numerous times “who was your builder?”

                    Good luck on your build.
