I honestly thought that everyone would assume that it was sarcasm. πŸ€”

    Perhaps I was wrong.

Now I drive well below the posted limit.
What the heck did you do? I've been driving for 36 years and have averaged about a speeding ticket every two years....which is really good considering for the first 20 I was probably averaging a speeding ticket per year. I once got three in one day....in three different states. I've never lost my license. Never cost me thousands of dollars (maybe combined). Never affected my license. Did you steal a police car and drive it through an orphanage? I will also say that not one of those times was my speed unsafe for the conditions. Important to note.

Yeah, same with me. Totally safe conditions. No snow, no school zones, and never driving by the county sherrif’s office.

I have a cdl. When Texas went to the points system in 12 or 13 I had a few too many speeding tickets in a 3 year span.
So they terminated my license for being a habitual speed
No violation was ever in a commercial vehicle.
Drove 100k plus miles a year chasing highline

I've had a CDL for 33 of those 36 years...still do. Of all the tickets I've ever had, only one was in a Commercial Vehicle...it wasn't for speeding...it was for crashing. Nothing was hurt by my pride and an old Mack truck with bad brakes. I've been lucky I guess.
