Dalhart to Lubbock got some, the big winner was Tulia to silverton to Plainview.

nWS just updated the winter storm warning, extended until midnight and forecasting up to another 3”

Congrats Playa, you finally cashed in. The power of a cold core upper level low. Looks like the txdot camera in Plainview at I-27/Hwy 70 may have buckled from the weight of the snow

Well, let’s not get carried away, this is a Sunday, if this had been tomorrow it would have been a poop theater

P-view seems to be the big winners. I sure wish it had moved about 30 miles south to me, but I’ll take what I have

Good job dad. Teach them now before they have to learn on their own.

We had 8 inches at my place on the far NW side of Lubbock, and that was with it melting it pretty quickly. We had a lot of accumulation mid morning, then it slowed down and warmed up. Started to slowly melt off, then gained steam again. Started coming down heavy again for an hour or so, but it was melting off around the same pace it was accumulating. Still have about 6” on the ground once it dropped below freezing again for the night.
