Am I Missing a Setting?

I mark topics as read before logging off. This means I see topics with new activity as bolded when I log back in.

I enjoyed this feature IN THE ACTUAL THREADS with the old website version. I’d open a thread and it would start with the new posts since my last visit.

I don’t get that with the new site and can’t find a setting to enable it. It makes me furious to have to scroll through page after page on a thread to find a post I haven’t read yet.

I can filter for latest activity, but then the entire thread is listed in reverse order. That’s dumb…

Please point out how dumb I am and show me the way!!

The little green dot with the arrows pointing down right in front of the thread title will take you to the first new post.

That just takes me to the last post on the thread, not where I left off….

this is one of the main reasons I preferred Tapa, it had an actual Participated Threads” option that just brought up threads I had participated in and took me to exactly where I left off

I may not be following what you’re trying to do, but have you tried the “New Topics” (or even New Posts?)

Review your account settings, look for Display Mode and make sure "Posts" is selected, and save.



Now, you wont need to mark topics as read. You simply click the green icon to take you to the next unread post. If there is no green icon - there are no new posts to read.

Yeah, I thought furious was a little much. Furious is what I used to be when I was about to hurt somebody…..or get hurt.
