I plan on putting in wainscoting in our barndo. I’ve got lots of used barn tin to cut to proper lengths. Instead of running circular saw with a a metal cutting blade (I just can’t really can’t stand the noise, even with ear plugs) what’s the best way to cut it?

You can also google ‘sheet metal suppliers’ and have the panels custom made to your length for no more that you would get full sheets from the local big box store. This is the route I typically go.

A skill saw works great with the right blade. Stack it. Cut it. Done it many times
Diablo makes a great metal cutting blade. You can also turn a wood cutting blade around backwards and cut it. Ear plugs and safety glasses/goggles are a must .Last edited by PondPopper; 02-08-2024, 10:27 PM.
