Anyone Looking for a '24 F250 King Ranch?

As I have posted on a couple different threads on here in the last 10 days or so, I was in the market for a new truck, and after exhausting every possible source, ordered one through a dealer in my area of southeast Texas. Then the very next day, another dealer found me a Lariat Ultimate that was outfitted pretty much like I was wanting the King Ranch outfitted. I bought the Lariat, contacted the dealer and "cancelled" the King Ranch order.

Apparently they did not cancel the order as it is moving forward. I just got a build date and VIN# for it. They will begin building the week of March 18, 2024. This truck has the 7.3L "Godzilla" V8 gasoline engine, FX4 package and all the bells n whistles... star white color, MSRP a little over $81,000... If anyone is looking for a truck like this, send me a PM and I will put you in touch with the dealer and you can perhaps save some time in getting yourself a new truck.

if you called and cancelled, and they didn’t do their part… are you financially on the hook for anything? Not sure how that pre-order build process works

No sir. I have no obligation. Heck the truck I got was one someone else ordered and got tired waiting on it. When it arrived the dealer called him and he told them he had already made another purchase and did not want it. My salesman called me and I went and looked at it and wrote him a check. While I was in his office, 2 other salesmen came in looking for the keys. Said they had a buyer!!

They usually don’t cancel. They know these trucks will sell instantly anyway.

I'm seriously considering calling Mike and trading my new diesel in on your ordered truck. I'm not loving my new F350. I mean it's an awesome engine, runs like a scalded dog, and has plenty of power, but I'm tired of DEF and $3.88 gallons of fuel. I seldom drag anything too heavy and if I do, I have several shop trucks that will suffice. Is yours a LWB or SWB? I prefer a LWB, but could adjust to a shorty. I also prefer black, but white would be my second choice. Things for me to ponder.....

Drove it to South Texas yesterday. Sucker will drive itself!! I’m already in love with this truck! Best new technology advance tho I think is that you can now activate any of its cameras while going down the road at any speed! This sucker has a bunch of cameras! I could look in the bed, look at a close up of the hitch area, look at the trailer, look BEHIND THE TRAILER! and look forward and out the side as well as a 360 overhead!!
When a trailer is attached, when you turn on the blinker, the side view cameras come on to show you the side you are turning to! It’s really nice when changing lanes or passing on a 2-lane highway (like 59 is from Victoria south to Laredo. That Godzilla V8 is awesome too. Trailer had a pallet of corn and three large coolers. Set adaptive cruise and driver assist to active. Hardly any downshift on hills and got 11.7mpg. I’m very happy with that. Would not have been able to run cruise on my F150 5.0 V8 without it downshifting 4 gears or mor and it would have been 7-8 mpg!
