    Soybeans in a feeder

Will soybeans swell up and clog your feeder due to humidity? If I put them in a covered trough will coons eat em?

IDK and yes. Coons will help themselves to anything they can get at. When you say feeder, are you talking about slinging them or free choice like a protein feeder ? I fed beans/corn mix out of a corn slinger near Ballinger, but humidity was a foreign concept there. Those deer didn’t eat them well, but I have no trouble feeding them beans here. I've fed them through the feeder without issue.

Been using the 50/50 soybean/corn without issue for a couple years. Have not tried 100% soybean. I would suspect that you would have no issue. Just put one sack in it and see how it goes before you top it off.

Roasted soybeans will sling just fine.
